Although Deer Creek Lodge is a year-round operation, we offer a variety of positions including part time, full time, and summer seasonal opportunities. Some employees working the summer season may be eligible to continue year round employment throughout the winter season on a limited basis depending on business levels.
Availability dates are a key factor in the selection process. As you go through the application process, be sure you are realistic and specific about start and end dates for employment. Applicants that can be flexible about job choices and remain available for the entire length of the season (Memorial Day through Labor Day) will be given priority.

With guest service as our #1 priority, the Company sets appearance standards for its employees.
- Hairstyles must be neat and well-groomed at all times and of a natural color.
- Beards and moustaches must be neat in appearance and kept groomed.
- Employees are required to conform to all health and sanitation regulations including the use of hair restraints where applicable. Food service employees are not permitted to have manicured false nails while on duty.
- Uniforms must be clean, unwrinkled and tucked in at all times where required. Nametags are part of the uniform and must be worn at all times while on duty.
- Visible body piercings (nose ring, tongue ring, etc.) and visible tattoos are not permitted.
New employees are expected to arrive at orientation in full compliance with our appearance standards.
Most seasonal employees will average anywhere from 25-40 hours per week. There may be seasonal fluctuations in hours worked during certain times of the year due to business levels. Employees may be assigned to work any day of the week, shifts may start at any hour of the day and split shifts are possible for some positions. Paydays are currently every two weeks. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours worked.Most seasonal employees will be working Memorial Day to Labor Day which is the busiest time at Deer Creek Lodge & Conference Center. While we recognize the need for time off, we ask our applicants to think about their availability very carefully before applying with us. During the busiest times there are no guaranteed days off and weekends and holidays are required.
Rates of pay vary by position, but are competitive within the area.

Employee Meals & Lodging
Deer Creek Lodge & Conference Center offers all employees a Meal Plan option as a payroll deduction each pay period.
Employee housing facilities are not available at Deer Creek Lodge & Conference Center.
A limited number of full-time year round positions are available from time to time with eligibility for a full benefit package to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and short-term disability. Other benefits may be available at the time of hire; consult with Human Resources for more information.
Employees must be 16 years of age to work at Deer Creek Lodge & Conference Center. Employees under age 18 will be required to secure a Work Permit during the school season. Work permit paperwork can be obtained at any local school administrative office.
Availability dates and schedule requests are a key factor in the selection process. Be realistic and specific about these dates. Your chances of being hired increase if you are flexible about your job choices, scheduling availability and are available for the entire length of the season (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Applicants who can work for the majority of the season will be given priority.
